When I saw this coat in Zara’s Lookbook, my mind said to me “We must own this!”. This coat combines a classic silhouette with a biker edge, just what I needed for weekends out on the town. It made its debut when I went to see the band Woods play at local spot in my neighborhood. Along with the coat, my faux leather leggings kept me warm and the leopard print shoes had a sensible heel height for long periods of standing at the performance.

I wore a glitzy headband to add some femininity. The easiest styling for my hair these days is a top knotted bun. It works for both days when I am traveling for work and for evenings. I don’t usually wear headbands but given that it was a night out and my dark hair blends in with the night, it helped create interest and contrast.

Lastly, I chose to wear a ring that added to the look’s toughness. The ring was something I spotted in Greece while on my honeymoon. The jewelery designer told me he loved the movie ‘The 300’ and wanted to create a piece based on Leonidas.

What do you wear to feel rocker chic?
