[The reflection is intentional…the husband likes to see himself in these sunglasses!]
If I had to choose, I would say the beach (any beach) is my favorite place to visit. I love the sound of the ocean, the peace and quiet, and the simplicity in your everyday attire. A swimsuit, cover-up, sandals, and shades are all you need. Over the years, each beach visit resulted in a new swimsuit, dress, or tote purchase. Now I have plenty of choices for multi-day stays by the coast. If you are also headed towards water this summer, here are options on what you can wear to stay stylish and comfortable.
Option 1: A loose t-back dress and glitter sandals to complement an all-white bathing suit
Option 2: Use a long tunic top as a cover-up, add jeweled jelly shoes and beach bling
Option 3: Go sans cover-up, pack it in a cheeky tote and freshen up your pedi with a white polish
On a more serious note, the last set of pictures were right before scooter accident in Koh Samui. Fortunately, my husband and I are okay, but I did sustain some injuries, a couple of broken toes and stitches to be exact. I am grateful to have had nothing more serious. I want to take this opportunity to say how kind, gracious, and caring the Thai people are. They helped me from the site of the accident to the hospital and the hospitality at the W Retreat Koh Samui (Nick, Gene, Tom, and the rest of the staff) was more than I ever expected. Though I am bummed out from this incident, it doesn’t sour my taste for Thailand or Koh Samui. I hope to return in the future.
