In the past, I have been reluctant to buy navy blue pieces. I am naturally more of a black and gray wearing kind of gal and have wondered whether navy would play nicely with the rest of my wardrobe. If you find yourself in a similar situation, don’t fret! Embrace the blue hue trend this season and find pieces with different textures and patterns. A french knotted sweater, waxy pleated skirt, and sparkly flats work well together to create a bold monochrome effect and eye-catching enough to stand on their own, with gray denim, or dare I say it…a black top <gasp>?!

You are too sweet, thanks so much! xo
I think you look lovely in navy!! Love the mix of textures with polka dot, pleats, and sparkles! And a gorgeous structured bag…such a fab monochromatic ensemble 🙂
Thanks so much! I really wanted to go all out with Navy, the bag was icing on the cake (and a really functional work tote)! xo
You look absolutely incredible! I love navy in the fall; and the silhouette of that skirt is just exquisite – very ladylike. Gorgeous!!

Love the bag, although it looks like ones from the brand “LOWCLASSIC”!
I haven’t heard of that brand but will check it out. Thanks for the suggestion!
