An all-white outfit can be intimidating. Sometimes, all I see are potential stains and an unforgiving color, but with a slight tweak in mindset, I see this look in a different (white) light. Start by focusing on fit and pick figure flattering pieces. Next, forget any “wear white only” rules. White can be winter appropriate by choosing the right type of fabric. For the colder months, choose weightier fabrics in wool, heavy cottons, or cashmere. I love this H&M skirt because of its weight and textured pattern (yes, I have been wearing it a lot lately – evidenced here). I also tend to go for more of an off-white or ivory color in Winter and pure white in the Summer. With a fabulous all-white base in place, make the outfit pop with a jewel tone coat and eye-catching shoes.
