The combination of a pea coat and stripes is what I imagine Camera Obscura’s Tracyanne Campbell wearing when she sings “French Navy“. On a cold crisp day, layers are essential so on comes the knit shirt, cardigan, and coat.  I just love how a bright orangey red mixes with leather, studs, and black and white stripes.  Somehow it works well together and awakens the senses like a breath of cold ocean (or harbor in my situation) air.

  1. LOVE this look! The colour orange looks perfect on you, gives me a happy spring vibe. I had the flats from Zara on my radar since the new collection came in. They’re true perfection!

    1. Holland does love Orange don’t they? It’s a great color, I am hoping to incorporate more of it in the coming months. These flats are fun, I can definitely see you rocking them! xo

  2. I am such a lover of stripes and have totally been wanting to wear them even though its cold – you have inspired me to go ahead and jump. Also I am loving the shoes – in an insane kind of way! xoxo
