I am finally warming up to the denim on denim trend.  The key to this look is making sure your varying denim pieces have enough contrast.  Here, I try a light denim top with my trusty “everyday” jeans which have a darker wash.  These basics create a canvas for a variety of colors which can be layered on through necklaces and other accessories. It’s a great dressed-up casual look that even the neighborhood cat would approve of (see last picture).  Speaking of warming up, is it Spring yet?

    1. I will need to try blue on black next (I am very behind on this trend thanks to preconceived notions about double denim). I am glad you like the necklaces, I loved all the colors too! xo

  1. I agree, the key is having different shades of denim! You do a great job using accessories to complete the look! Your necklace especially really stands out and is besutiful.
