SEE LARK! | Eat. Shop. Do.

This week marks the beginning of the my third trimester and suddenly it’s harder to move around, sleep through the night (they say it’s “practice”), and I can’t see my legs.  With that said, I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.  These are minor ailments and I am grateful for the good health I have experienced thus far.  I just need to remember to eat smaller meals in order to avoid indigestion!

  • EAT. Hubby and I are going to enjoy our freedom while we still have it and aim to finally get a taste of Rose’s Luxury, one of DC’s best restaurants, this weekend.
  • SHOP.  I’m taking more public transportation these days and as a result dread walking on rainy days.  However, these new Loeffler Randall rain booties makes me wish for a downpour!
  • DO. I am little behind on new releases but I just purchased Dad is Fat by Jim Gaffigan and plan to read this as part of my parent planning preparation activities.  PS – his new book Food: A Love Story will be available late October.

    1. Thanks Kat! I won’t lie, been dragging lately but it’s amazing what one good night of sleep will do :-P. Saw on IG you scoring some sweet piece in the Altuzarra for Target opening !

    1. Araceley – Roses was AMAZING. We for some reason thought it opened at 5:30 pm (it does on the weekdays) but it opens at 5:00 PM on Fri and Sat. So we got there around 5:20 and there was a line to put your name on the wait list…3 hour wait! We live nearby so we went home, I think it’s definitely place to try but plan better than we did and plan to make a night of it and get a cocktail nearby!
