SEE LARK! | Baby Brands I Love Lately, I have been channeling my shopping skillz towards things for Baby A.  It’s been fun searching for things that are a little less traditional. Over the past few months, I have developed quite a loyalty to a few brands that emulate my love for all things modern, edgy, and/or quirky. If you are expecting or searching for that perfect gift for someone who has little ones, here’s a few items to consider. 1. Aden and Anais is a well known name in all things bedding related. I was super excited to find out that they made sheets for the Stokke Sleepi crib.  It’s unique oval shape limits the bedding choices so an Aden and Anais starry night design was just what I needed to liven up A’s nursery. 2. I found this Roxy Marj bear blanket originally on Etsy but she now has her own website offering  this playful blanket as a bear, lion, or tiger.  I love to lay this down so that A has somewhere soft to play on. 3. We bathe A every night as part his bedtime routine and use Mustela multi-sensory bubble bath in his bath water.  It has a such a deliciously clean yet subtle scent that helps everyone relax a little. A must-have for bath-loving babies. 4. Boy clothes have come a long way but it can still be hard to find something fun, cute, and out of the ordinary for our little guys.  Then I found Electrik Kidz. They have such a fun array of sleeping gowns, tops, and other accessories for the fun and hip kid (and the built-in paci clip is such a cute and clever bonus). 5. I completely freaked out when A decided to refuse taking a bottle (insert images of me never being able to drop him off at daycare).  Every baby is different and so will the reasons why they won’t take a bottle.  Fortunately, when I switched to Como Tomo bottles, the adoption to taking a bottle was a little smoother and now he loves it.  I think it was the soft nipple and the silicone bottle which makes it soft and “squishy” to touch.  I have six of these bottles now!
